Are you outliving you life?

Title: Out Live Your Life: You were made to make a difference

Author: Max Lucado

In Out Live Your Life, Max Lucado is challenging the reader to think about what people are going to remember about your life when you are gone. Were you living for yourself or striving to follow God and live for him? Are you doing things that will make a mark on society or other people once you are gone?

This is the first Max Lucado book I have read. I enjoyed it and will probably be reading some of his other books now. It is well written and easy to follow and read. Max Lucado uses stories of many different people and the things they did in their lives to make a difference to inspire the reader to look at their life and evaluate if they are going to be remembered as someone who made a difference. He shows us how God has used just ordinary people to accomplish great things in the past. The concepts he shows us in this book should be nothing new to a true Christian, but can remind us of how we should be living. We need these reminders once in a while as we are all still sinners and our lives tend to get in the way of Gods will sometimes. We just need to remember that we are not doing good to be seen and remembered, but as a response for what God has done for us. Out Live Your Life serves as a reminder of how we should be living.

I loved reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be inspired to live a life worth remembering.
